Below are a couple opportunities for men considering the priesthood or interested in discerning their calling. Please click on the appropriate links for further information.
A St. Andrew Dinner gives priests an opportunity to invite young men (high school or older) who think they have the qualities needed to be a good priest. This dinner will include seminarians and other priests. The young men who are invited will have a chance to ask questions in a relaxed atmosphere, learn more about life as a priest and hear vocation stories. Bishop Hying and Fr. Luke Strand will also be present to interact, support and encourage the young men to follow the Lord's call.
A St. Andrew Dinner is named after St. Andrew, who in the Gospel according to John, brought his brother, Simon Peter to meet Jesus. The evening will include Mass, dinner, discussion and witness talks to the priesthood from seminarians.
