Please Read: CCHS Boys Basketball

Topper Family,

I hesitate to start looking too far ahead,  but we are faced with a situation that requires us to do just that!  Our first two Boys Basketball playoff games will be held at CCHS.  If we take care of our business, the Regional Final game will likely be held on the road in Milwaukee (likely at Milwaukee Academy of Science). If MAS and Catholic Central were to meet in the regional final, we would like to try and get this game moved due to the size of their gymnasium and the limited seating capacity they have. Our only potential chance to get this game moved would be to show the WIAA that we have enough advanced ticket sales to verify that a move is necessitated due to the seating capacity restraints at the Milwaukee Academy of Science gymnasium.

In order for the WIAA to consider this change of venue, we are looking to pre-sell 200 tickets.  As there is no guarantee this will happen, more would be even better. It would then be very difficult for the current location to be able to accommodate our fan base along with those of Milwaukee Academy of Sciences.

Tickets are $4 per person.

Please send an email to Tom Aldrich @taldrich@cchsnet.org with your first / last name, phone number and how many tickets,  you will need before noon on Wednesday, March 2nd.  Bring everyone in your family!

Example email:  Kyle Scott Family - 8 tickets

Thank you for all that you do for Catholic Central and for the Boys Basketball team.
Go Toppers!
Coach Scott

P.S.  As of today, we are about half way to our goal, in order to make this request.

Announcing our New Head Varsity Volleyball Coach !

Catholic Central High School is proud to announce the hiring of a new Head Coach for their Girl’s Varsity Volleyball program. Bailey Racky was selected from a pool of applicants based on her experience as a high school coach and as a club volleyball coach.  Bailey is the Fitness and Wellness Teacher and Assistant Athletic Director at Catholic Central High School.  Her volleyball coaching experience includes the Wisconsin Juniors AAU Volleyball Program, Assistant Volleyball Coach at Wilmot Union High School, Club Fusion Volleyball and Winona, MN JO Volleyball.

We are excited to hire a coach with Coach Racky’s knowledge, experience and love of the game of volleyball. Catholic Central is fortunate to have found such a qualified coach who is passionate about working with high school age athletes and embraces the school’s culture of Faith, Family, and Tradition.

Coach Racky follows in the successful footsteps of Coach Mae Mae Oberhofer, who resigned in December of 2015.

Another Great Outing for the CCHS Fishing Club!

The CCHS Fishing Club had another great time on Eagle Lake this past weekend with  William Murray, John Pum and Bailey Bleser participating.  The boys did a terrific job of landing six very nice Northern Pike.  Below are pictures of the group as well as each with their prize catch.

**The CCHS Fishing Club will be fishing the Burlington Demon Ice Fishing Tournament on Eagle Lake this upcoming weekend and anyone interested in fishing can participate!
The tournament will largely be a catch and release tournament due to the restrictive size limits.   Teams will be awarded based on the best 10 panfish, and the best ten game fish per team.  Fishing will begin at 8:30am, with lunch at noon, and the tournament ending at 3:00pm.  If you would like to sign up, please email Bailey Bleser baileybleser@cchsnet.org or his father, Rich Bleser richard.bleser@marsh.com. **
