Over the past few weeks, students and staff have brought in food and personal care items to help families in need through Love Inc. as well as win the Key Club’s March Madness contest. The Key Club was impressed by the tremendous involvement by the Catholic Central community. Due to this impressive participation, CC was able to collect and donate over 700 items to the Love Inc. Food Pantry to help local families in need.
SeƱora Marquez’'s 4th hour class won the March Madness contest with a total of 234 items collected!
Thank you to all those who participated in helping collect food and items for others.

CCHS Government Election
Tomorrow students and staff of Catholic Central have the opportunity to vote in three elections for the next president(s) of the United States. Students in Government class have been working hard on campaigning for the mock election. Each candidate worked with a team to create a complete political campaign including a political platform, slogan, website, posters, commercials, radio broadcasts, press releases, and other campaign and advertising materials.
Please take the time to look over all websites before choosing the best candidate for the job!

CCHS Boys Basketball Team Heading to the STATE Tournament!
Congratulations to our Boys Basketball Team and Coaches on advancing to the State Basketball Tournament! We will play in the Division 5 Semi-Final game Friday, March 18th at 9:05 am against Barneveld High School. The game will be at the Kohl Center on the U.W. - Madison Campus.
With the team advancing to state, we are moving Parent-Teacher Conferences to Wednesday, March 16th from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, instead of on Thursday. Please plan accordingly.
Thursday will be a Spirit Day/Blue & White Day here at school for students and staff. There will be a pep rally for the team on Thursday, March 17th. The pep rally will begin at 12:00 pm and be held in Topper Hall. We would love for parents and family to join us to send the boys off to Madison!
We will have school on Friday for students that choose not to go to the game. It is an early release day at 12:30 pm and attendance will be taken. If students are not taking the fan bus to the game or are not coming to school, I need parents to notify the office, especially if students are driving to the game or riding with their parents. We need to know where all students will be on Friday.
We have tickets on sale here at the school for Friday’s game. Cost is $10.00 per ticket. If we win Friday, tickets for Saturday’s game will be on sale immediately after our game at the Kohl Center.
We will also have fan buses available for students and parents that want to go to the game. The cost for the fan bus is $15, which includes a ticket to the game. Busses will depart from Catholic Central High School at 6:45 am Friday. Please stop by the school and pay for your bus and tickets by Thursday morning if you are planning on going.
In addition to the game, our own Catholic Central High School Dance Team will be performing at halftime of Friday’s game!
This will definitely be a memorable experience for everyone! Come out and show your Topper Pride this Friday!
If you have any questions pleaes contact the school office at 262-763-1510.

March Madness
Starting today, Key Club is running its annual March Madness Food Drive for Love Inc.! The food drive will start on March 1st and end Friday, March 18th.
The madness will consist of a competition between all fourth hour classrooms. The class that brings in the most nonperishable food items (counted by dividing the amount of goods by the people in the class) will earn a pizza party! Students will find boxes for collection in each classroom starting today so bring in those goods!
In addition to collecting food during the school day, Key Club members will be at the Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, March 17th to collect food. Items donated at that time will also be counted toward students’ classroom total.
The CCHS Key Club and Love Incorporated appreciate your support! Thank you!
Please Read: CCHS Boys Basketball
Topper Family,
I hesitate to start looking too far ahead, but we are faced with a situation that requires us to do just that! Our first two Boys Basketball playoff games will be held at CCHS. If we take care of our business, the Regional Final game will likely be held on the road in Milwaukee (likely at Milwaukee Academy of Science). If MAS and Catholic Central were to meet in the regional final, we would like to try and get this game moved due to the size of their gymnasium and the limited seating capacity they have. Our only potential chance to get this game moved would be to show the WIAA that we have enough advanced ticket sales to verify that a move is necessitated due to the seating capacity restraints at the Milwaukee Academy of Science gymnasium.
In order for the WIAA to consider this change of venue, we are looking to pre-sell 200 tickets. As there is no guarantee this will happen, more would be even better. It would then be very difficult for the current location to be able to accommodate our fan base along with those of Milwaukee Academy of Sciences.
Tickets are $4 per person.
Please send an email to Tom Aldrich @taldrich@cchsnet.org with your first / last name, phone number and how many tickets, you will need before noon on Wednesday, March 2nd. Bring everyone in your family!
Example email: Kyle Scott Family - 8 tickets
Thank you for all that you do for Catholic Central and for the Boys Basketball team.
